New York!

I remember the days I dreamt of living in New York City; It was during college, when I truly discovered my love for fashion. However, life often leads you to unexpected places, and I ended up moving to Boston for a job after my studies. At the time, I was disappointed that so many of my friends were on their way to NYC, while I was unpacking my bags just four hours north.

As you know, over the past five and a half years, I’ve grown to admire Boston more than I ever thought I could. I’ve learned to not only appreciate, but love the city’s small town feel, it’s incomparable passion for sports, summers filled with sailboats, and the romantic snowy winters. There’s something about Boston that helped me grow… it helped me figure out who I was as an artist, and where I wanted to go.

After many memorable years, the time has come for a new adventure…. A new adventure in New York! The past few days I’ve been moving my life into a charming apartment on the Upper East Side… exploring my new surroundings, and working to create a new home and studio. It still hasn’t quite hit me yet, but with the start of New York Fashion Week, I’m sure it will consume me soon enough!

The glamour of it all! New York! America! – Charlie Chaplin

I couldn’t be more excited to embark on this new journey, and look forward to the new world that New York has to offer.

A small tribute to NYC I worked on a while back…
