A Night At The Theater

A simple moment in my imagination illustrated.  If only we still dressed like this to go see a show…!

Take a look at these three images to watch how I added detail.

Sometimes the simplest things can take the longest to perfect. I nearly spent an hour and a half on her right hand alone to find the perfect position resting on her left arm.

Would’ve been nice if her feet were peeking out a bit on the bottom left, what do you think?

How gorgeous and whimsical! Her feet peeking out would have been cute but it’s beautiful and perfect regardless.

    Hi Katie!

Looks adorable! Love the fact that you posted the various stages: watercolor really works better if one apply’s many layers, doesn’t it?

Beautiful! I really like the bits of yellow on the stage.. There looks like there is also a chandelier. I like being able to find bits of things in artwork. Tres Magnifique!

  8. I would lkek to see her feeting peeking out. I think it might lend balance to her body pose. It seems natural. However I fear it might compete witht he sexy limbs of the chair.
